Is there any kind of grinding wheel that can handle soft metal, not steel loading on the surface of wheel?

What are the differences between all types of steel polishing compounds?

I am planning to start polishing of steel with my new 6 “buffer bench, but I see that the compounds (solid sticks) come in various colors. I try to polish the old tools as close to chrome look possible. Always use gray matte to start and then white to the end, but now I see blue and red enoseis.Enoseis read more . . .

I need to cut a little tile can I utilize a Metal corner grinder for this with a metal rotund cutting bit ?
