If you aren’t widespread with diamond drilling bits that’s not surprising because they are more of a specialized drill bit. Diamond drill bits are used that to drill holes into brick, stone, and concrete, and they are commonly used for more massive holes in these materials.

I want to cut holes in glass, but have been to both Lowe’s and Home Depot and they insist that there are no such things as diamond bits for rotary tools like a dremel…Even though my friend has a diamond drill bit for HIS rotary tool (he doesn’t remember where he got it unfortunately).
